Beatriz Arbelo López de Letona comes from Madrid, Spain. From his father, born in the canary islands, she learned to love sea and water. Her mother, coming from the north part of Spain, showed her to appreciate the infinity of landscapes, rivers and mountains. She has been fortunate for living her life between these sceneries in each and every one of their moments, weathers and seasons, moments and emotions that have delivered her into different feelings pressing needs of painting all these sensations by means of most variable techniques.

Although painting has been always her most intimae vocation, it has not been until some years ago when she has assumed it in a professional way, not only by means of its traditional ways (oil, acrylic, pencil, ink, pastel) but also with any other artistic via (print working, mixed media, collage, tramp ou ceil). Now she is working sculpture, fibers and photography.

She constantly attends seminaries and courses with renowned specialized artists that include new tendencies, as well as in famous museums and universities in Spain and Europe.
